Roswell, you have big competition!

Well hello my lovely readers! Wondering probably why the title of this post started with Roswell. Its not off the topic, this i promise. This weekend i had an escape in Romania and did a road trip from the capital Bucharest to the mountain in Brasov.

On our way, we thought to make a stop for refreshments at an autogrill called ETU, who just blow our expectations.

My friends told me in April, when this place opened, that i have to see it since is “something else” and “Roswell is in Romania too”.

We joked about it for some time now, until this weekend when i saw my self. Its awsome! I love the details those people put in this place, from aliens bigger then you, to colors and lunch design. Is so american and so Roswell like.

Mr UTer and i had such a great time here, i loved the food and the staff is amazing.

Everything here makes you feel over the ocean, even if its only 4 hours from home. Simply great!

Hello Paris!

Hello from Paris! We are back to Paris and God i missed it.

We’ve been gone for some time now and let me tell you how much i missed my mornings here. And is not because is Paris, it has nothing to do. Just that Mr UTer and i have some spots we love here.

Yesterday we went early in the morning to Montmartre at Sacre Coeur and the top view was amazing. I love going there early in the morning when people aren’t much.

In evening we had for dinner ravioli. The best place to have a great ravioli is at Bir-Hakeim metro station at Le Bistrot de la Tour.

Today we started the day with a power walk. Is such a nice day today!

We go around Seine because i love wondering around the boats and having coffee at Pont d’Alma.

Now we enjoy breakfast at Ralph’s with the most tasty pancakes. You must try it, they are delicious.

I wonder, if you are in Paris, what are your favorite things to do, where to go and eat. I would love to know it!

Turkey – Spices over Mediterana

Hello from Mediterranean coast! Summer, blue waves, colored drinks and lots of spices and aromas! Love all of it!

We’re in Turkey from over a week now and i’m mesmerized with all i saw and tasted! I’ve seen palms like in Caraibe, blue sea and white sand as Bali, all the aromas and spices you can get as in India. This place has it all and more.

We are booked on a hotel in a true tropical place, between mountain, the greeny palms, white sand and blue sea. What could we want more? Wake up with such view took our breath away.

Also we spent so much time on the sea, being lucky to lunch with the best mediteranean chef in Turkey and taste the most delicious turkish dinner on the antalyan coast.

So here we go! Early in the mornings Mr UpTer and I went for a power walk and then reward ourselfs with a great french coffee with view over riviera.

We lunched mostly at the most beautiful situated restaurant in Monaco, with an amazing view. Colors of the restaurant design so perfectly matched with an exceptional service.

Even if you are only passing through Monaco, please make a stop at Elsa restaurant (Av. Princesse Grace, 98000 Monaco). Its a great spot to enjoy a great meal, colored cocktails, quiet and relaxing with a view of millions.

Christmas Markets in Paris

Believe it or not, winter is the most visited time in Europe! Can you imagine why?

Well i couldn’t really at first, but then it hit me … of course … it was THE HOLIDAYS!!!

Even Mr UTer and I have been visiting Europe every year for the holidays, looking for the best Christmas presents, surrounded of the lovely sound of Christmas carols and the smell of a Christmas treat, clearly the best destination for perfect Christmas holidays.

As every year now, we ended up this year in Paris and it was amazing! Trust me when i say that the name City of Lights comes from this time of the year which is simply wonderful.

So please bear some moments with us and lets dive into what we think are the best Christmas Markets in Paris.

First of all you need to know that even if the Christmas Markets are opened during mid November to the first days of January, Paris has much more to offer.

In Paris, as in the rest of France, the New Year, or¬†“Saint Sylvestre” of the french, begins on January 1st and ends February 1st, another winter holiday we’ll explore soon.

Christmas Village on La Defense Esplanade

In front of La Defense Arch every year is the biggest Christmas Village, who’s extending on over 10,000 m¬≤. This Christmas Village¬†is filled with over¬†300 chalets displaying crafts¬†and hundreds of square meters of festive decorations.

It is to remind the huge variety of stalls selling mouth-watering Christmas treats and delights you have to try.

Champs-Elysees Christmas Market

As i was saying before the so called City of Lights comes from the stunning illuminations on the world’s most beautiful avenue Champs-Elysees.

Here, between the Rond-point and Place de la Concorde, extends the most sparkle Christmas Market.

If you love the Christmas carols and want to enjoy the taste of some mulled wine among the best treats and delights from the regional products like foie gras, ham, french sausages and fromage, champagne and so on, this is the place for you.

Even the little folks will have plenty of things to do and games to play during the grown ups delights tasting and shopping breaks.

We hope you enjoyed exploring these Christmas Markets with us and look forward in hearing your best places to visit during winter holidays.

XOXO, from Paris

When in Paris … the best french delights

Just by saying this name you already imagine the baguettes, pain au chocolat, blue fromage, pate de canard and soft red wine.

For this reason we are going to share with you some tips when it comes to where to find some best french delights … when in Paris.

Our first stop will be at Angelina Paris – St Germain. This is a wonderful place to visit for the pastry collection of the house chef and the most delicious hot chocolate. Even if you are on a city break, with very little time available, don’t miss this place, you’ll love it and you’ll get home some delicious delights.

Another place worth not to miss is Delices de France on Rue de Rivoli. If you wanna buy for you, friends, family or business partners some souvenir, like the colorful and artistic Marie Bouvero chocolate tablets, this is the best place.

Beside chocolate, Delices de France is where to find all you can imagine when it comes to french souvenir delights.

And one last place you can’t miss it, is having a meal at Boucherie Rouliere Restaurant – St Germain. Here is where you get to experience the true french¬†cuisine. Wonderful staff, warm ambiance, like home dishes, best meat ever had and quality wine from the restaurant owners growers.
