Hello all and Merry Christmas!
How was your Christmas? Lot of gifts i hope and a party to match 😉
Well we were busy too, but on top of all the Christmas challenges of presents hunt and party to plan, we took the gingerbread challenge this Christmas. We had a lot of fun and we loved it!
Since it was our first team project of this kind we wanted to share it with you guys, as i mentioned few days ago on instagram, so here we go.
Maybe this time we could’ve done more on it but since we didn’t really know what is it all about, we weren’t really prepared. But on and all i think it looks encouraging and nice and we will make for sure a custom out of it every year from now on 🙂
So dears, have you tried it? Are you gingerbread builders too?
Or better say Welcome Fall!
I love fall, with everything in it. Maybe is because is my birth season as they say but either way i always thought this is the best season ever.
It has everything: warm and chilly weather, all the natures colors, its harvest time at full, time for candles and cozy sweaters, playfull fire camps, thanksgiving and halloween with everything pumpkin as lattes and cakes.
So now is the time for decorations 🙂
Recently i’ve spent some time on Etsy preparing my home for fall and this season celebrations. So i thought i would be nice to share with you some of my pickings.
How do you prepare for fall?
Hello summer! Its true some of us only get few months of summer over the year and sometimes we even wanna pack some of the sun for winter, but that doesn’t mean dry or burned skin, that over time will mean damage skin.
So dears today we are planning our vacation and my mind already travels to palms and blue sea.
Even so i must say that i’m always ready for sun. Even in winter time, i use my Clarins moisturizer with a broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher to reduce the risk of skin cancer and premature skin aging caused by the sun. I love this formula because is multi-hidratant, leaving a very soft and matte finish, a must during hot summer days.
What about UVA and UVB?
A long story short: the sunlight that reaches us has two types of rays: long wave ultraviolet A (UVA) and short wave ultraviolet B (UVB). The UVA rays, are the most harmful, that penetrate deep into the dermis, the skin’s thickest layer.
We may think its all marketing but unprotected exposure can cause premature skin aging and wrinkling and UVB rays, the chef cause of skin reddening and sunburn, wil burn the superficial layers of your skin, that can lead to a sensible immune system.
When in summer, me as MrUTer always use a very high protection moisturizer, like 50+ SPF with both UVA and UVB filters from Clarins, because we like researched products.
For after sun all we need is a ultra-hydrating moisturizer, to revitalize and soften our skin, such as the after sun from Clarins that also prolongs a healthy tan.
Please let us know how you prepare for summer and what are your summer favorites when it comes to sun protection.
Well hello my lovely readers! Wondering probably why the title of this post started with Roswell. Its not off the topic, this i promise. This weekend i had an escape in Romania and did a road trip from the capital Bucharest to the mountain in Brasov.
On our way, we thought to make a stop for refreshments at an autogrill called ETU, who just blow our expectations.
My friends told me in April, when this place opened, that i have to see it since is “something else” and “Roswell is in Romania too”.
We joked about it for some time now, until this weekend when i saw my self. Its awsome! I love the details those people put in this place, from aliens bigger then you, to colors and lunch design. Is so american and so Roswell like.
Mr UTer and i had such a great time here, i loved the food and the staff is amazing.
Everything here makes you feel over the ocean, even if its only 4 hours from home. Simply great!
Hello from Paris! We are back to Paris and God i missed it.
We’ve been gone for some time now and let me tell you how much i missed my mornings here. And is not because is Paris, it has nothing to do. Just that Mr UTer and i have some spots we love here.
Yesterday we went early in the morning to Montmartre at Sacre Coeur and the top view was amazing. I love going there early in the morning when people aren’t much.
In evening we had for dinner ravioli. The best place to have a great ravioli is at Bir-Hakeim metro station at Le Bistrot de la Tour.
Today we started the day with a power walk. Is such a nice day today!
We go around Seine because i love wondering around the boats and having coffee at Pont d’Alma.
Now we enjoy breakfast at Ralph’s with the most tasty pancakes. You must try it, they are delicious.
I wonder, if you are in Paris, what are your favorite things to do, where to go and eat. I would love to know it!
Hello from Mediterranean coast! Summer, blue waves, colored drinks and lots of spices and aromas! Love all of it!
We’re in Turkey from over a week now and i’m mesmerized with all i saw and tasted! I’ve seen palms like in Caraibe, blue sea and white sand as Bali, all the aromas and spices you can get as in India. This place has it all and more.
We are booked on a hotel in a true tropical place, between mountain, the greeny palms, white sand and blue sea. What could we want more? Wake up with such view took our breath away.
Also we spent so much time on the sea, being lucky to lunch with the best mediteranean chef in Turkey and taste the most delicious turkish dinner on the antalyan coast.
We totally love our time here so far, everything is so beautiful, amazing us on each step we take.
We would like to know what are your travel destinations for this summer, where will you escape the hot summer and who knows, maybe we could share some tips together.
Hello everyone! We’ve been on Cotè de Azur for the last weeks and we’ve had captured some great views of Monaco and discovered a great place where to enjoy a lovely day, that we wish to share with you too.
So here we go! Early in the mornings Mr UpTer and I went for a power walk and then reward ourselfs with a great french coffee with view over riviera.
We lunched mostly at the most beautiful situated restaurant in Monaco, with an amazing view. Colors of the restaurant design so perfectly matched with an exceptional service.
Even if you are only passing through Monaco, please make a stop at Elsa restaurant (Av. Princesse Grace, 98000 Monaco). Its a great spot to enjoy a great meal, colored cocktails, quiet and relaxing with a view of millions.
